Mark Seidel

Mark has been involved in the hockey world in a number of capacities over the past 2 decades. It all began as the General Manager of the Junior A Espanola Eagles in the Northern Ontario Junior Hockey League. It was duringĀ  that capacity that Mark began his first experience into National Hockey League scouting as the Ontario Scout for the RedLine Report which was the preminant Independant Scouting Service at the time. After working at RedLine for 4 years, he was offered the Chief Scout position with the burgeoning competitor to RedLine, the International Scouting Service (ISS). While serving in that capacity, he moved on to manage the 3rd ranked Junior A Team in Canada, the Sudbury Junior Wolves and became the Chief Scout for the Owen Sound Attack in the OHL. From there, Mark assumed the Assistant General Manager position with the Erie Otters in the OHL as well as accepting the Ontario Scouting position with the Minnesota Wild of the NHL. Upon the completion of those contracts, Mark moved on as the Commissioner of the Northern Ontario Junior Hockey League and he also started up his own Independant Scouting Service, North American Central Scouting. This group consists of 14 scouts across the globe and has become the premiere “Insider” service for people in professional hockey, the NCAA and Junior Hockey. Along with his work for us, Mark has done significant media work in Canada with Hockey Night in Canada, the Bill Watters Show and Off the Record with Michael Landsberg.
